The focus would be to undertake India specific telecom development to address needs of both rural and urban population, help build market ready talent in the telecom space by suitable training and skill development programs as well as create an environment of innovation in the field of telecom.
The Centre would not only utilize current technologies and standards but have a clear focus on building such technologies and standards to address future needs.
